ACLS

Minimum 1 year experience as RN-PACU (direct PACU) in an inpatient setting.

$30's-40's / hr DOE + BONUS + benefit package. NAME YOUR TRAVEL PAY PACKAGE

Weekly pay!

Coordinates total nursing care for the peri-operative procedure patient. Provides intensive observation and care for the pre- and post-operative procedure patient for which an anesthetic agent or moderate sedation was used.


Duties:  
a. Demonstrates clinical competency with routine PACU assessment skills.
b. Assists with special tests or procedures (e.g. epidural injection, regional blocks, local injection, A-line insertion, and chest tube insertion).
c. Manage invasive lines in conjunction with invasive monitors or CVP manometer (A-lines, subclavian).
d. Demonstrates knowledge and management of the patient with inadequate airway resulting from emergence from anesthesia, regional anesthesia and moderate sedation.
